Privacy is a product feature
WTBI holds the kind of material people normally keep to themselves. Here is exactly how it is treated.
Thoughts are private by default
Every thought belongs to exactly one account. Database row-level security means a request carrying another account's identity cannot read or modify your rows, even if it guesses an ID.
There are no public profiles
WTBI has no public pages, no shareable thought URLs, no followers, and no social feeds. Version one deliberately ships without public sharing.
Your data is not sold
Your thoughts are not sold, rented, or used to train models. No thought content is sent to third-party analytics.
No AI runs inside WTBI
WTBI does not summarize, classify, tag, or interpret your thoughts. If a summary or tag appears, it is because you connected an outside assistant yourself — and the thought records where that addition came from.
Assistant access is yours to grant and take back
You can connect an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude in two ways: by signing in and approving it, or with an access token whose permissions you choose. Tokens are stored only as a fingerprint, so the value cannot be read back after you create it. Every action an assistant takes is written to an activity log you can read, and cutting a connection off takes effect immediately.
You can export everything
Download your complete archive as JSON, Markdown, or CSV from Settings at any time.
You can permanently delete your content
Ordinary deletes move a thought to trash so mistakes are recoverable. Settings also offers permanent deletion of individual thoughts, of everything you have stored, or of your account.
